I have a project with multiple images dropped on an overlay track. After I've placed them all, I'd like to apply the same fade out effect to all of them at once. I've tried shift/click and crtl/click to select more than one, but it doesn't work. Any solution?

In Preferences, set that transition to be the default.

Hi
Do you mean the fade effect using the Direction and Styles under the Options / Attributes tab
If yes, right click a clip and select Copy Attributes, then paste to the other images, Shift + Click will select multiple images, then Paste Attributes
