VS X4 Sp1 Now available!

Guys just want to share about the VideoStudio X4 SP1. Just got the update a minute ago when I open VS X4 and here are the details of SP1:

Important update available
VideoStudio Pro X4 Service Pack 1 is now available. This free update delivers a variety of new performance updates, feature enhancements and bug fixes, including:

Superior performance on 2nd Generation Intel Core processors, including support for CM filters
Hardware acceleration support with AMD AVT processors
Improved quality on H.264 file conversion
Improved support for Digital8 and Hi8 format video capture
Fix for intermittent disc playback issues on PlayStation 3
Improved quality of MPEG4 playback
Fix for intermittent noise issues with M4a audio
Fix for disc burn error occurring in the absence of background audio and motion menues
Fix for language selection error in certain German-and French-speaking countries
New capacity to set disc burning speed
Fix for application launch failure in the presence of a large number of fonts

You can get the update when you go to the CHECK FOR UPDATE section on the COREL GUIDE. If you installed the SP1, your VS X4 should now be 14.1.0.107.

After I installed the patch but it changed the program language from English to French and all the bonus material I had installed has now disappeared as well as some of the Instant Projects I had downloaded and installed.

How do I get my program back to English and my missing material back?

Interesting, that the file is not listed with Patches and Upgrades at the Corel-Web site. The file is dated: 30-05-2011.

But perhaps somebody ist intested in the direct downlod link? Her we go:

What about the "hang up" and easy crashing tendence?

Just now i tried to re-edit one of my projects (1:30 hours with about 300 Pictures, video (mpeg2), some titles and Smartsound-music) - after installation of that Service-Pack 1.

Sorry, but i don't notice any difference with that "fix".

When i try different sounds or rearrange clips, often the program hangs frozen for minimum 5 minutes up to about a hour (or longer).
Does anybody noticed the same problem?

where i can upload my crash-file Dumps that Corel and the bought Ulead-taiwans can address and fix the problems?

Abiel, please take note of the following.

Following your advice, I've update VSPro X4 with the SP1. Now I get everywhere the french language except on the control bar at the top of the screes :
File, Edit, Tools, Settings, Capture, Edit, Share
instead
Fichier, Edition, Outils, Parametres, Capture, Edition, Partage

I just installed VS X4 SP1 and my Language is still English and the downloaded Bonus Material is still available. I also am now able to select the "Use Hardware Encoder acceleration" check box, which was greyed out previously. The upgrade apparently likes my ATI Radeon HD 5450 grapics card, which has the ATI Stream graphic acceleration technology.
So far it looks good.

again the question:
Where i can send the Error-Dump-files videostudio creates?

I tried the contact via the Web-form, but never got any response from Corel.

Additional question:
Why videostudio pops up "Out of memory" (1,25 GB RAM in use by videostudio, when about 1,7 GB physical RAM are still available and for the temporary files about 200 GB)

Are there restrictions in the number of pictures (attributes and modifications), video (Mpeg-2), titles, smartsound objects and cross overs?

I always have trouble with videostudio - independent of the format: MPEG-2 or AVCHD.
The troubles increase, when i use Smartsound, pan&zoom

I have reduced the number of steps backwards from ten to five - which works better.

Why videostudio needs about 15 minutes to save a project?

I hope for an answer from the Corel-people
