I just downloaded PSP 13...I can't put a few photos on the work space....I only see one photo at a time and when I move a photo I see the checkered area and not the other photos...at the top left I see the photo names and i can click on them and the photo appears but only one at a time...around each photo I always had an area where I could see the X at the top right , click on it and the photo would leave...but now it's hard to see where the X is....hopefully this is just in the settings but I'm confused....Diane
ps...I had PSP 12 and it was working perfectly....!!!! hopefully it's just me!!!!

Re: Can't Put Multiple Photos in the Work Area
What you're talking about is Windowed mode versus Tabbed mode.
In previous versions Windowed mode was the default, in X3 Tabbed Mode is the default.
Tabbed mode keeps all images in a sort of maximized mode (if you hit Maximize on the Window you know what I mean). Each image is also given its own tab for quick and easy access to each opened image in the program. This is a great mode for some of us because it removes a lot of the clutter and places only the image we're working on right now in the forefront.
In other ways its very limiting. It should be noted this mode is available in X2 as well, it's just not on by defaul.t
If you prefer the older method of doing things you can turn off tabbed mode by unchecking "Tabbed Documents" in the Windows menu.
