PSP keeps crashing every 2 minutes

Post by habsforthecup »

Hi,
I am trying to make a flyer and every 2 minutes PSP keeps crashing. Is there a way to get a log from it so I can post it here?
I am using text and when i click on the right hand side to double click (for that the text sticks), it crashes. EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Driving me NUTS!
Thanks!

What version of PSP? Have you installed each service pack or a patch?
Have you done anything to try to resolve this?
Has this worked for you before or is it a new install? If it worked for you before resetting the workspace can usually clear some issues up. File > Workspace > Load > click Default. It would be a good idea to save your current workspace first though, just in case you want to reuse it.

Hah, I know the feeling...
Further to what Dan suggested, you can also reset PSP if you have one of the later versions (always mention the version!) by closing PSP, opening it again and holding the Shift key down until you get a message that PSP is reverting to the default settings, let go of the Shift key.
Then you can start again :-)
As Dan also mentioned: save your workspace first.
