Normalizing Audio

Post by kevsim »

If you send your project to Share/Create Disk, there is a feature "Normalize Audio".
If I render to DVD this feature is not available, is there any way to normalize the sound tracks when rendering to DVD.
I would appreciate your advise

Hi

The quick answer is no……..

Normalize Audio is part of the burner process.
When we Share Create Disc we can add video files or VSP’s these create titles, one for each file added.
Each title will have a separate link/thumbnail in the main menu.

As far as I know the Normalise Audio affects the Titles not the titles content.

If you add compliant video files then the process does not need to render the files to burn the disc, but if you select the option to “Normalize Audio” then the process renders, Converts Title in order to adjust the overall audio levels.

Editing the project.
Normalise Audio is not part of this process, if you wish to change the sound levels within the timelines then you have to do it on an individual clip basis.
