Hi all- been awhile. Hopefully someone can help! I DJ for fun on the internet, and I made a little video commercial, where I show album covers, with intermittent quick videos of me in- between. Since I changed locations where I DJ now, I took the original video, and just tweaked it a little with the new internet address, etc. The album covers I used were all originally 300x300, and I have them all centered in the overlay screen.
The problem is, when I play the video within VSx3, everything looks fine- but as I'm encoding into a .flv file to upload on youtube, it's distorting all the perfect "squares", and "rectangulizing" them the long way. Any ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Hi
What is your project properties? are you using 4:3 or 16:9?
When you convert to FLV are you using 4:3 or 16:9, what are your flash settings?
If you use widescreen then you would have to create your own template.
Things to try.
1 / disable Non-square Pixel Rendering (Project Properties-Edit tab)
Then reset the image size in the overlay track
Also from Share Create Video File – Flash--Options, uncheck Non –Square Pixel Rendering.
2/ You may be best to convert the project to a more suitable video format, maybe DV-Avi then convert that to Flash.

Another suggestion that you can try is to create a video file like mpeg or mpg via SHARE > CREATE VIDEO file of VideoStudio X3, then directly upload that file to Youtube, since Youtube support a wide variety of video format.
