VideoStudioPro X4- How change the language
Hi !!!!
For an unknown reason, the current language (initially french) has been changed (now english). How could I change it, I don't find anything in the settings. Using the DVD to repair or reinstall the proramm doesn't work. A white screen is displayed then disappear and so one, slowly flashing.
Windows 7 SP1 Home edition 32 bit
Thanks for your help !!!!

Re: VideoStudioPro X4- How change the language
Thanks for your feedback but the u32comm.ini (to change with the knowledge base attachment file) doesn't exist in my videostudio programm folder.

Re: VideoStudioPro X4- How change the language
maybe that is your problem - - I found my copy of that file in C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio Pro X4 -- perhaps you should download the file and put it in the same place on your computer.

here is the link again - not quite sure why you need it the link in my post above still seems to work.

Just do as the article tells you - download the file in that article - move the file in your VideoStudio programme into a temp folder somewhere on your computer, and then copy the new file in to the VideoStudio programme folder.
I do not know if you have the latest version or not - just try it and see if it solves your problem - if it does not then we can look further into it - but unless you try we will never know if it solves your problem

Re: VideoStudioPro X4- How change the language
Thanks for your detailed explanation.
Change done (downloaded file put intoo the VSProX4 folder, instead the other)
Launching the programm, the language is again english (instead french)
When I installed the programm for the first time , I got the right one (french)
The change occured afterwards without any reason.
As I try to reinstall the programm (choice VS install), I get a white rectangle very slowly flashing, difficult to delete.
The associated process is setuparp.exe

Re: VideoStudioPro X4- How change the language
Hi Jeff !!!!
Fantastic Idea !!! . Following your advice, I've update VSPro X4 with the SP1. Now I get everywhere the french language except on the control bar at the top of the screes :
File, Edit, Tools, Settings, Capture, Edit, Share
instead
Fichier, Edition, Outils, Parametres, Capture, Edition, Partage
I am now living a dream !!!!
Thanks
Alain
