Possible to import/copy DVD menus from X2 to X4?

So I was wondering, as I have Corel Video Studio X2 and X4, is it possible to import the DVD menu templates from X2 into X4? Not the ones you can download; apparently they are for quick projects only.

Thank you Abiel - - only thing is arcuspilot that thread talks about moving from V11 to V4 , should work for you - just note that the file positions in X2 will be different to V11 and will be very similar to those of X4

Hi

I have just copied all contents from X2
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio 12\Content\Menu Template\16x9\Text Button
To:-
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio Pro X4\Content\Menu Template\16x9\Text Button

With the exception of the ini file.

It has created a new gallery library called Text Menu, yes now I have two, the new one contains all X2 menus.

I assume if I copied the other template folder contents that they would also work.

I think Brian may have had problems as he was using Ulead Video Studio 11, which may not be as compatible to X4?

Ok - you're right - all you have to do is copy everything (folders and all) from C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio 12\Content\Menu Template to the same directory in X4. I just did it, overwriting and all and so far no crashing. The menus show up and so far, work fine.
Naturally, if you've got critical projects saved into your X4 directory, back them up in case eventually the thing does crash and you need to delete and re-install.
