gif 'stuck on desktop'
Well I'm finally learning how to create gif's, but my first one is now on my XP desktop, and I can't seem to get rid of it. It runs whenever I log in and is not changed when I change other desktop items, even back to default style. Any ideas?

Thanks kenart,
But it is still there, confirmed the gif file property details, and removed it from the desktop, but it still runs whenever I log in. This does not affect other PC user.
Any further ideas?

Did you by any chance save your GIF as your Welcome Screen?
Or, did you by any chance assign the Gif you created as your Picture to display when you Logon, under your User Account?
If so you will have to go to the Control Panel, select User Accounts, under Pick an Account to Change, select your Logon account, then under What do You Want to change About Your Account, select Change my Picture. See if the GIF is listed in the Pick a New Picture for Your Account, selection dialog Box. If so change your picture to another image.
If not then you will have to hunt down the GIF and delete it, or move it off to Diskette or CD. Make sure you don’t copy but cut to move the offending file.
If now of the above works, This will take a little more diagnostics!!

'gif stuck on desk-top'
Hi again, and thanks for the advice, I found it as a 'web' item, 'Control panel, display, destop, customise desktop, web item!
I unticked it and deleted it from the list.
Cheers,
Chris
