Rendering in VS X3

Post by castelc »

I am trying to complete my first project in X3 with a new computer. I have done many projects on an older computer with VS 10. I X3 stops working during the rendering process everytime I try to make a video file. I'm making a 4:3 mpeg 2 file (DVD). I have tryed several different ways and the most I can get done is 24%. i have tried to cut out a clip I thought might be bad but still not luck. I get a dump file each time that it tells me to send to Corel. I think all my computer info should automatically post. Win 7, I 5 chip, 8 GB memory. Need help.

The original burning module that came with X3 was crap. Are you using it or did you download the free replacement, MovieFactory 7se?

I'm just trying to create a video share file in x3 without going to the project finish part yet.

Update is just for the heck of it I tried a mpeg4 file share 640x480 and it went fine, and none of the mpeg2 options will work.

If you are always getting the dump file error message, I would suggest that you download all updates for the program. You can visit: http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite/ ... 0460544373

DV rendering does not work either. Uninstalled Quicktime, re-installed with link from Corel. mpeg file still will not render.
