Photo Album 7 vs Paint Shop 2010 vs Express
Photo Album 7 vs Paint Shop 2010 vs Express
I had PA 7; bought new computer so had to purchase new Corel product. Corel site said PA 7 no longer available & that PS Express was comparable. Bought it but @ download got PS 2010. What;s the scoop? Also @ pic download from camera, PA 7 had dialogue box where i could specifiy that i wanted to delete pics on camera memory card. This product doesn't have that - or at least i don't see it. True? Should i have bought a different product for modest/simple pic download/edit/share?

Re: Photo Album 7 vs Paint Shop 2010 vs Express
Welcome to the forums,
Well I don't have any experience or knowledge of this specific part of Corel Digital Studio, which bundles several programs;
I would guess that Paintshop Photo Express is along the same lines as those two. However I can't really say, as I've never looked at it. I use the full version of Paintshop Pro, which their latest version PSP X3 has proven to be a real mess, riddled with bugs. So far they have released 5 patches, if that tells you anything.
Corel Paintshop 2010 and Express are one in the same program. Sometimes it's referred to as Paintshop Express, and others as Paintshop 2010.

Re: Photo Album 7 vs Paint Shop 2010 vs Express
Just like what Ron said the PS 2010 is the same as the Corel Paintshop Photo Express 2010 and about the dialogue box where you can specifiy that you wanted to delete pics on camera memory card, it appears that you are referring to the Corel Photo Downloader, which is also included when you purchased PaintShop Photo Pro X3. If you want to use PaintShop Pro X3, you can download and use the trial version for 30 days via http://www.corel.com/trials.
