VideoStudio X4 Updates?

Post by dblml320 »

Hello,

I was one of the first purchasers of VideoStudio X4. I think it was in March 2011. Anyway, I remember at the time having an error in the Burning Module, and not being able to burn any media. I tried several settings and workarounds to no avail.

Has there been an update to X4. I looked through the first 5 pages of messages on this board, and was surprised that no one has been mentioning the issue. I think it was something like a 0x800 error, something a long that line.

Anyway, could someone point me to the latest discussion on this problem? Thank-you!

Cheers,

AFAIK there are no problems with the X4 burn module. Maybe if you start a new thread detailing your problem we might be able to help.

Hmm .. I bought VS X4 the day it was available and proceeded to produce a project. I remember getting to the point of burning a DVD with menus, and ran into an error. I tried all the suggestions this board had to offer, but nothing would work in X4, so I switched to another program and tabled X4.

I wish I had better memory of the error, it was either a 0x800 error or that 5.0.0 error. In any case, it was well known, which is why I am puzzled there is not much information (or an update) on this board for X4.

So you are saying that you can create a DVD with motion menus and sound, and burn it in X4 with no problems? :?:

The fact that no-one else has posted about this problem would suggest that no-one else has your problem - it may be something specific to your system or installation. Like Black Lab I have no trouble at all in creating DVDs with any menu I choose including motion menus and sound.

This appears to be a very limited problem (you + ??) and that would be one of the reasons why there has not been an update for it. also, did you contact Corel direct about your problem - just posting a problem in these forums is not an official means of contacting Corel.

As Black Lab has said , start a new topic detailing your problem , and the other forum members will try to help you.
