Paint Shop Pro X2 Installation Issue

I had to recently wipe my machine and install my software. When attempting to install the setup.exe crashes and Vista displays the Close the program button. I submitted this issue weeks ago to Corel and have not heard from them even though there is a promised 24 to 48 hour turn around time. Why does the install crash on Vista? Can anyone help?

Where did you download the setup.exe file? Because PSP X2 is fully compatible with Windows vista and it is posted at http://www.corel.com/vista.

Anyway, if you ordered the program as a download, I suggest that you redownload the program from your corel account. The problem could be with the installer that you have and I would suggest that obtain a fresh installer file.
