Hi. I just want to ask the differences of Paint Shop Pro, Painter, DRAW , Photo Paint, and Graphics Suite.
Each one is used for what?
Does the Graphics Suite contains all these?
And could you give me a comparison maybe like, which one is like GIMP? or which one is like MS Paint, Photoshop, Illustrator.
I'm just . I tried look into Corel website but all I got was "new features" which made all the products sounded the same to me.

Technically GIMP, MS Paint, and Photoshop are all alike each other. Also Paint Shop Pro is like all of those as is Photo Paint (technically).

DRAW is like Illustrator and Inkscape and Xara designer.

Photo Paint is actually bundled with Corel DRAW in the Graphics Suite. The graphics suite also includes a power tracer to convert bitmaps to vectors. And a screen capture tool.
The Premium suite includes Swish Max for creating flash animtion as well as Video Studio. So it's like the Creative Suite from Adobe.

Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro have some similarities in functionality to Painter but Painter is it's own thing. Painter simulates actual painting media, like oils and acrylics and pencils and chalk. It can even trace images simulating having painted the images with paint.

The graphics suite is great for a lot, Photo Paint has been compared in functionality and power to Photoshop (not the same obviously but pretty good) and DRAW itself is very powerful for vectors and web creation.

Paint Shop Pro is closest to just GIMP and Photoshop Elements as well as Paint and Paint.NET. Again it has art media that simulates real life media like oils and such, not as good as Painter though, it also has absolute basic vector functionality, as well as image editing and it's pretty good at all of that. It also includes a basic photo-organizer and can do RAW and HDR photography.

That's some question you have there... let me add something from Levi's response.

Paint Shop Pro > Main for Photo editing software used mostly by Photographers or photo enthusiast.
Painter > More on digital art or a digital version of Painting
DRAW or Corel Draw > Used mostly by graphic designer like those people who Illustrator, creates banners, streamer, vector base images.
Photo Paint > This is part of Corel Draw Graphics suite, it take care of the photo editing part on graphics design, though this can also be use as a stand alone program and edit photos like PaintShop Pro.
Graphics Suite > a suite that contains a number of program for your graphics needs.. let quote that is posted on the corel web page for the different components of the CorelDraw Graphics Suite.

Hi. Thank you for responding. I'm interested in Painter. But other Corel products have the word "Paint" in them, and I just wanted to know how they differ from Painter. You surely provided me clarity. So thank you. One last question. I missed to mention Painter Essentials. Is it the same as Painter? Also, are Paintshop Photo Pro and Paintshop Pro the same?

1) Painter Essentials is like a toned down, or light, version of Painter. Similar to how PhotoShop Elements is a light version of Photoshop. It's pretty good if you don't want to spend the money on the full Painter.

2) Yes they are the same. Corel added "Photo" to the name with Version 11...I think. So it started off as PaintShop Pro, then moved to Paint Shop Pro Photo and now it's called PaintShop Photo Pro, they apparently like to add confusion to new updates. But it's the exact same program. Even with some dubious changes it's still a great graphics and photo editor.
