Page dimensions resize problem in PSPPX3

Post by Stephen Hill »

Hi,

I am using PaintShop Pro Photo X3 build 13.2.1.20 with an HP Deskjet 6940 printer running on a 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium system. If I follow the following workflow an apparent problem is revealed:

1. Open image file and go to File | Print...
2. Under Size/Position choose Fit to Page and note the image size details
3. Click on Properties
4. Go to the Paper/Quality tab
5. Change the paper size to A5, for example
6. Click OK
7. Note the image size details - they have not changed from those noted in 2
8. Click on Properties
9. Click on OK
10. The image has now been resized
11. Click on Properties
12. Choose a different paper size
13. Click OK
14. The image has not been resized from the dimensions in 10
15. Click on Properties
16. Click on OK
17. The image has been resized

Has anybody else noticed this and is there any fix available?

Many thanks,

Stephen Hill

Following as closely as possible I could not replicate this.

If it's an actual oddity that you alone are experiencing, which may not be so, you can attempt to reset your workspace by double-clicking on the desktop icon while holding the SHIFT key to open PSP. It'll ask you if you want to reset your workspace, say yes and see if that fixes it.

But make sure to save your workspace if you've made extensive changes because if it doesn't work you'll want to get it all back. :D

I tried to follow the steps that you listed above but nothing happens on my end. The image stays the same, you may want to check if the problem is with your printer, make sure you have an updated printer driver and also if you have another printer you may want to test it using that other printer as well.
