DVD Tutorial besides youtube and corel site

Post by dennis29 »

Any recommendations on another company selling dvd tutorials for in depth knowledge for PSPX3? so far I found this site:

http://www.michelespaintshop.com/mp_tutorials_index.php

There is a user guide from corel and they sell this book 'picture yourself...' but I'm just looking for a good tutorial besides youtube.

While there are some big differences where the Organizer is concerned you can go as low as X2 and even XI. In which case Lynda.com has some...I don't know how "in-depth" they are but they do cover some of the basics.

Most of the video tutorials I know of are online. CVT for example you can choose between quicktime and flash video but I don't know if they have any DVD options at all.

Corel has a lot of tutorials on it's tutorial page:

http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite/ ... 2639386269

I also created a number of tutorials though they're just some tutorial that I want learned and I just want to share them..

And LeviFiction have a number of video tutorial uploaded on his Youtube channel.

Though we're not actually sure that tutorial are you looking for but if there's a project that you are working on and you need help, just post them here I'm sure a lot of the forum users will be more than happy to help you.

Abiel, he said not Corel's and not YouTube. :D

The tutorials he's looking for are not a specific project but understanding how PSP itself works. It's all listed right there in his description.

@LeviFiction and Abiel: Thanks for the quick posts, I appreciate it, I'm new to the product and to this forum, just fyi. I saw some of those websites, here is a DVD tutorial that I also found and I'm not sure if it's worth buying:

http://www.computer-training-software.c ... pro-x2.htm

If you notice, it's targeting X2, although I think the differences are not that much ,for instance, for X3, they support windows 7, other stuff they include like smart carver, improved performance, etc. I mean the links from youtube and corel are good, but I'm more more looking into the flow of utilizing the product. For instance, now that I have it, I installed it, ok, I load my pictures, I have raw pictures, I tweak these in the raw lab, I convert them, they're now jpg, so I guess I'm ready to start getting creative now? Well, I can definitely finish reading the User Guide to understand the basic concepts such as layering, but I'm just trying to speed up my learning curve without fiddling too much within the product, don't get me wrong, the links you guys sent are very helpful, but I'm trying to understand how the product work itself. Whether photoshop or paintshop, topics like layering and enhancing are all the same. That DVD from the link and even lynda.com have a similar flow, it's categorized, I guess that's what I'm looking for, from beginning to end and other features being optional but knowing they exist.

Sorry my bad. :)

The only thing that I can think of right now is the book that he already mentioned "Picture Yourself Learning Corel PaintShop Photo Pro X3"

As for DVD, I don't recall anyone creating a DVD for PSP just like what Jeremy Sutton did to Painter.

Thanks Guys, I actually replied earlier but couldn't seem to find it on this thread hhmmnn,, it would be nice if Paintshop or Videostudio is bundled with a tutorial dvd, that would make the learning curve faster, I'll red the user guide and look into the book.
