4:3 settings default project properties in X4

Hello there,

Is there a way of editing the default settings from 16:9 (widescreen) to 4:3?

The easiest way would be to go into Settings > Project Properties > Edit > General, and change it there. You could also make a template if you intend to do this often.

But that involes costant changing the project settings. In the prev versions I could untick the option for 16:9.

Yes, Corel appears to have dropped the splash screen which had the box where you could either tick it for 16:9 or leave it unticked for 4:3. So the only way to have it permanently set for 4:3 would be to make a template which you could then always use.

Settings-Uncheck Widescreen 16:9

Still have to do every time.

Settings Show Messages when............
Then create a 4:3 short movie to either DV.Avi or DVD Mpeg2.
Each time you start a new project Drag this to the timeline, you will be prompted to match the settings

After all you probibaly would want to match your project settings to the video file
