Hi there,
I recently bought X4 and noticed that you can't loop/repeat some files using the 'repeat' button. The volume button also seems to appear for some and not all files.
Is there something I'm missing here or is this a file compatibility issue?
Thanks,
W.

You'll have to explain. What "repeat" button, and what volume button are you talking about?

The ones in the main/default UI layout that are in the bottom of the video window. The volume icon is a speaker and the repeat icon is a loop of arrows.
They seem to vanish and re-appear?

Hi
The icons immediacy below the preview screen are for controlling the playback.
Float your mouse over each for a “tool tip”
From the right:-
Play
Home-moves curser to far left
Previous—Mover curser frame by frame
Next
End-Moves curser to right
Repeat-continues to play clip over again
System Volume -- Loud Speaker—this adjusts your computers speaker volume.
Clip audio controls………Insert a video to the timeline, with the clip selected……….
To the far right of the window is an “options” button
This will open and close the “Options Panel”
To the right of the preview screen is a digital clock
Immediately right are some audio controls
100% levels
Fade-in Fade out ramps and Mute
Again float your mouse for the tool tip
The default fade-in / out can be set via Settings - Preferences
