I don't know why someone approved it (
), but the reason your post was denied is because you haven't filled in your computer specs. These could have some bearing on your problem. Please go to the User Control Panel and fill in this information.
Also, you have provided no information to even make an education guess as to what your problem is. In other words, we need details. Please read the following and supply the requested info.

Re: VideoStudio Pro X2 stopped working
I have had this problem before a while back (which I could only resolve with an OS reinstall). Never did figure out what the problem was. There is also a recent post where someone else had a similar issue. There is something that is conflicting with VS, causing it to stop working properly. But just what I don't have a clue. As I said a fresh OS install (due to me buying a new hard drive at the time) solved the problem, but nothing else did.

Hi Natal
You are still not giving any information as to what is happening, all we know is that it does not work.
Does that mean the Video Studio just does not load?
Or the program opens but crashes?
Do you get any error messages?
We can keep on guessing.
Try a re-install of the program

Re: VideoStudio Pro X2 stopped working
Oh, its not a problem for me any more, like I said, it went away after I reinstalled the OS. At that time I had both VS12 and X3 on my system, neither would work. I could start up the software but as soon as I tried to do anything the program would stop. I uninstalled and reinstalled both programs, I reinstalled DirectX, looked for any codec/video software that might have been installed to the best of my limited skills, nothing worked, except (as I mentioned) reinstalling the OS when I got a new harddrive a few weeks later. Then everything worked. Since I had the same drivers installed and the same OS updates, it couldn't have had anything to do with OS and basic system files. I had been trying out and then uninstalling a number of format conversion programs before that, and I suspect it had something to do with one of those, what exactly I don't know. The point is, a number of people appear to be having similar problems, but what is causing it isn't known.
It might help to have folk who do have this issue list all of the video related software they have on their system, together with version numbers and in particular if those programs were recently installed/updated/uninstalled.

Trevor -- in any case, it was not Natal who made the original post. I think he was trying to help, but it was DannyDelcambre who remains mystified and mystifying!!!

Re: VideoStudio Pro X2 stopped working
Hi, To carry on this discussion a bit I am getting much the same problem. I just installed VideoStudio Pro X3 on my old Win XP yesterday and it refuses to run. Nothing happens on clicking the icon. If I go into the window programs area and right the click its target short cut vstudio.exe file, and do a "run as *ME*" it does start, then says "insufficient disk space, needs more the 200 MB", even though there is 180 GB free.
I cleared out all the bits of the previous version of VideoStudio as advised before installing. Do I have to reinstall the whole OS as well to to get it working.
Is there any debugging information available that could be accessed when it stops like this.
