I just upgraded from VS x2 a couple of months ago and during that time didn't have to make actual DVDs with X3. X2 was very simple to learn and extremely simple to make a DVD out of my projects. All my projects have DVDs made from them. Now I'm ready to make DVDs with X3 and I can't believe the problems! I see no way to NOT make a title page, no back button, no "blank" title, none of the features in X2. What happened??? Why did they do this in X3? I'm making a practice video to see mistakes needing to be corrected from viewing on my TV and can't even get past the initial screen for the DVD.
VERY frustrating. Is X4 any better? Did they fix this problem, like by going back to the X2 DVD-making format?
Where are the preferences for the DVD factory, so I can change things? Are there any?
Thanks very much for your help!

Yes. The X4 burning module is like X2 and its predecessors.Did they fix this problem, like by going back to the X2 DVD-making format?

Hi
Corel X3 provided Movie Factory 2010 as its default authoring program. This part is total rubbish.
In recognition of their mistake Corel then provided DVD Movie Factory 7SE as a replacement.
This program is a free download for X3 users.
Its format is very similar to that of the burner section used in X2, however you cannot burn a VSP, instead you complete your projects by creating a video file, then use these files to burn a DVD, much as you did with X2.
X4’s approach has reverted back to the same method as used by X2.

If you do not have the DVD MF 7 SE, you can download it from linkor just download all the updates for VS X3 from this link.

Thanks to everyone for the very informative answers to my question. Thank goodness Corel fixed this mistake in X4. I'll be installing that version now.
Thanks!
Thanks!
