WinDVD Pro 2010 won't play BD

I bought WinDVD Pro 2010 via download and it will not recognize Blu Ray disks. The InterVideo WinDVD BD that came with the computer, however, reads and plays BD disks fine. I've uninstalled and reinstalled WinDVD Pro 2010 and checked for updates and nothing is working. Am I missing something? Does WinDVD Pro 2010 not support Blu Ray?

You have to 'jump through hoops' to update to the latest version. Download the latest service pack from their website, follow the instructions in this thread

I have the same problem. Just bought WinDVD Pro 2010 and it will not play any copy protected Blu-Ray. After installing the latest service pack (10.0.5.819.119562) it still will not play any copy protected Blu-Ray.
So I tried the demo version of AnyDVD - and SUDDENLY WinDVD Pro 2010 plays all Blu-Ray movies fine !
My Display, my graphic card and my HDMI-Cable are all HDCP certified.
How can I fix this problem ? Is there any solution ?

Did you manage to find a solution ? I have the same thing with all the versions I have tried (8,10 and 11): none of them will play Blurays unless AnyDVD or DVDFab are installed.

I contaced the protexis support and i think they could really helped me.
i got a patch for the protexis licensing service.
i have deinstalled windvd 2010 and the protexis licensing service. i installed it again, installed all patches until service pack 4 for windvd and then i installed the protexis patch. it worked for me.
it's worth a try

btw: i burned the setup file of windvd on a cd and installed it from cd. corel support said this solved many known problems
