trouble installing VS9 trial

I downloaded the VS9 trial, but on install, I keep getting a message..

"Please insert disk 1 that contains the file layout bin"

and then it opens a search box and has this in the box:

C:\DOCUME~1\folder\LOCALS~1\Temp\pft186.tmp\Program\UVS1

Can anyone help on this? I have a Sony DVD300 and was directed by someone at camcorderinfo.com to give Ulead VS9 a try.

Well, I guess no one has had this problem before. Sad thing is that Ulead customer support won't support any questions/issues regarding the trial software.

I was kind of interested in buying it, since it seems to be what works best (as far as I can tell from posts) with the Sony DVD300 cam.

Most likely there is a program running in the background interferring with the installation. Shut down your startup programs. Go to 'Start', 'Run' type in 'msconfig'. Do a selective startup and disable 'Load Startup Items.' Restart the computer and try running the installation again.
