Painting Creator timing
I am using Painting Creator in X3 to circle a face in an old photo slide show I am putting together. My problem: on playback when the circle closes the whole frame goes away. How do I have the completely circled face remain for 2 or 3 seconds?

Just like any time you want a certain frame(s) to stay on the screen for a period of time you would have to copy that frame(s) and insert copies at the end of the original.

Re: Painting Creator timing
That didn't work. I am using still photos on the main timeline. When I do the Painting Creator circle thing it becomes a video. I can't strech the video out and if I copy it, I get the same animation.
I figured it out while playing around. I first made the circle using the Painting Creator in animation mode. I saved it and put it in the timeline (overlay track optional). I then went back to painting creator, right clicked on the frame and clicked on the "Transfer animation item to still." After clicking OK, I put that frame behind the animated frame. Now I can have the end product (in this case a circled face remain as long as I desire. If there is a shorter way, I havent figured it out.

Re: Painting Creator timing
In the painting Creater in the bottom RH corner change the drawing to still image I think it is, and render it.
It will then show up as an image of the finished drawing in your image library. Add that in the timeline after the drawing animation.
