text on a circle line
I know how to get the text on the cirle line but when I type in the text, it will only read from left to right. I want to put my text at the bottom of the circle and have in go left to right with the text right side up. But every time I try and put the text at the bottom of the circle the text is upside down and right to left. I have been struggling with this for some time and cannot figure it out. Can someone help!!!

Convert the circle (ellipse) into a path. From your menu go to Objects->Covert To Path.
If it's already a path that option won't be available.
Make sure the circle is selected and reverse the path. Grab the "Pen" tool and then either right-click on one of the nodes or, once again, go to your Objects menu. Select Edit->Reverse Path from either menu.
Now the text should be reversed as well.
If you want text to be on both the bottom and top of the circle then you need two identical circles overlapping each other, one with its path reversed.
You can see it done in Video from Michele at her website for Paint Shop pro. http://www.michelespaintshop.com/psp-text-on-curve.php
It does go over basic text on a curve but it also shows reversing the curve to get text along the bottom of the ellipse.

Thank you. That helped out. That was something that I was banging my head against the wall over for a long time. Much better now.
