VideoStudio Registration
I'm trying to register my version of VideoStudio.
When I key in my email address and then select forgot password. I'm told a link to reset my password has been
sent to my email address. I check my email and sure enough there is a link. I click on the link and it takes
me to a blank page with the Ulead banner on it.
I then try to register a new account and it tellsme my **EDIT: designated email address** is already in use.
I try to contact customer support and it says you can't get customer support unless you are
registered. I also clicked on a link support.corel.com and get an advertisement.
How does one register if you can't get to your existing account or create a new one, or
contact customer support.;
Trying to register leads me around in circles. Not a good advertisement for Corel products.
Any help in getting VideoStudio X2 registed under **EDIT: my designated email address** would be helpful.

Re: VideoStudio Registration
I am afraid I can't help with your basic problem. But I have edited your post to remove your actual email address. It is never a good idea to post those in view of all the spybots sniffing around websites these days.

Re: VideoStudio Registration
but why are you trying to create a new account if you already have one ?? - when you are sent a new password you should just use that to log into your existing account - not try to create a new one.
Log into your old (existing) account using the new password and then register your copy of VideoStudio - all ulead/Corel software registrations are held on one account - you do not need a new account to register an additional product.
If you want to create a new account then just use a different e-mail address and password.

But I read it that he can't get the new password. The link that is emailed to him just takes him to a blank page.
What you might try to do is create a new account with a new username.

Re: VideoStudio Registration
BlackLab you are correct. I can't get a new password because to register as it gives a blank Ulead page.
It wants my email address and password to register. When I use my registration email and the same
password I use for this forum it says my email address is not found.
When I log in to this forum I log in without an email address. I use a one word userid and password.
That does not work when I try to register my product.
Also, when I try to do live chat it tells me live chat is not available.
If I click on the link for support.corel.com I get a Corel advertisement page.
I will try again later today and I will try to make a video of my attempts.

Can't you make a new one using gmail or one of the other free services?
