I would like to create a Word/text file and import it into my Video Studio project file for the credits at the end of a play that I have taped. How do I do this? I have searched knowledgebase but couldn't find the topic.
Thank you

Re: Import Credits File
Open your text file - select all the text - copy it using Ctrl+C
In VideoStudio open title creation screen - double click where it says "Double click to create Title" - paste your text into the screen by using Ctrl+V
Done

Re: Import Credits File
I am using VideoStudio Pro X3. I do not see any place where it says to Double Click to create title. I have clicked on everything I can find on this screen. I must be blind! It does say Open Subtitle file, but it only allows a .utf file. Also, there is no Paste option that I can find. How can I create a .utf file outside of VS?
Sorry, but I still need some direction. Thanks for your reply.

Re: Import Credits File
Are you using the Easy or Advanced Edit? The Easy Edit is really Corel's miserable VideoStudio Express 2010, don't bother with that, always go the Advance Edit, which is the real VS.
With VS X3 and X4, there are some video tutorials that you can access through the Corel Guide (the round button in the upper-right, having an arrow surrounded by dots). One of those tutorials should address how to add titles to your project. When the Corel Guide opens, click on the Vimeo title along the bottom, then click on the link in the description that says.. Click Here, which will take you to the Video Tutorials posted on Vimeo. OR
Click on the following link to take you to our Video Products tutorials forum, Video Tutorials for VS X3. Scroll through them, there should be one to show you how to insert titles. http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=36933
You're not going to see the "Double-click here...." until you have clicked on the T located between the preview screen and the library palette.

Re: Import Credits File
The Paste option within VideoStudio is the standard 'Windows' keyboard function of holding down 'Ctrl' and 'V' at the same time - usually written as Ctrl+V
The copy function from your original text file is also a standard Windows keyboard function of holding down Ctrl and C at the same time (Ctrl+C)
How do you normally make titles then if you do not know how to access the text typing screen ??

Re: Import Credits File
A title is not the same as a sub-title.
