parameter out of range error
PPPX3 Adjust/Brightness & Contrast/Curves originally worked fine - suddenly I'm getting the error msg "A parameter is out of range" and I'm unable to use this feature. This is true after multiple re-starts and on any image I try to work on. Any thoughts?

Re: parameter out of range error
Do you get it by simply calling the command? Or after adjusting one of the parameters?
If it's any parameter then I'm going to tell you the same thing that is apparently a big "Check this first" thing with Corel.
Reset your workspace. This means you'll lose any bound scripts, toolbars, toolbar and palette positions and keyboard and menu changes you've made to the program. But this has even fixed a problem where someone couldn't use their paintbrush. Don't ask me why, I think it's insane personally but it seems to work sometimes.
If you've made significant changes to the UI that you don't want to lose then save the workspace first. Go the menu and select File->Workspace->Save. Give it any name you want.
Now there are two ways to reset your workspace. The first is from your menu again. File->Preferences->Reset Preferences. In this dialog select "Reset workspace to default configuration" and hit "OK."
The second way is to close PSP. Then open PSP by holding Shfit as you click on the desktop icon. It should ask you if you want to reset your workspace.
Try the curves command. If it still doesn't work properly then we can try something else. IF it does work properly and you want to get your UI changes back you can do so from the file menu by selecting "Load" from the "Workspace" submenu. It usually doesn't hurt to reload the workspace after you've reset.

Re: parameter out of range error
Resetting the workspace from within PSP didn't work, but by starting over and shift-clicking icon did. Problem solved - much oblidged!

@Jim
Can you contact your country specific Corel support?
"a parameter is out of range" in this context means that the curves can't be applied for either graphic problems or another program might hinder PSPP to work (I can only guess so).
Have you changed settings in your Internet Explorer or generally in your system recently?

I work for the Corel UK Support. I will not give technical support through this forum and my answer is only related to this thread.
