Quick Guides

Post by awings36 »

I am currently using the trial version ov psp x3. I stopped upgrading psp with 9. I love 9 and felt that it was doing everything I needed it to do and have never moved on. Well I now have a windows 7 operating system and 9 is changing my systems color scheme.. I can still use it but I am afraid that this could eventually cause problems. My question is... Has the quick guides feature found in 9 been removed? I really need that feature. I have a graphics site and have all my settings and samples stored in html files that I view per each order.Without the ability to have those directions available within pspx3 I doubt I will buy it.. I really really need the quick guide feature.

From what I know about it quick guides actually ended with PSP 9. I bet you could come up with another method if you had to, you don't need quick guides you just really really like them. :D I don't think there is anyway to add categories to the current learning center either....they at least don't make it as easy as adding the "Quick Guides" folder to your "My PSP Files" folder anymore.

As for the color scheme, PSP 9 simply can't utilize the Aero theme. It wasn't designed to. WIndows itself adjusts for this by removing the Aero theme properties while maintaining the window style. You have nothing to worry about it's perfectly fine that this happens Microsoft designed it that way.

Well thank you very much for your input. I really, really need the quick guides since they hold 1000's of html settings files. So I guess the best solution for me is to continue using 9 and removing the trial version if x3. I have since been reading some of the other posts... seems its pretty crappy anyways. It's ashame.... I feel they had a real good thing going. Again, thank you very much!
