Help - Software recommendation

I am trying to find software that will allow me to edit sports game video for individual players allowing me to highlight the individual player in a freeze frame before each play begins; either with an arrow or "glow". Suggestions? Thank you

Corel VideoStudio X4 Pro has a very nice tool called Painting Creator that lets you easily highlight any object in the current frame. You can draw freehand anything you like such as arrows, circles. Once done you just drag the clip down to the overlay track. You don't even need to adjust the x-y positions. The background of the drawing will become transparent with just your draw strokes showing.

Freeze by taking a snapshot of the current frame, then drag the still "photo" to the timeline and adjust the length and aspect ratio if necessary.

You may also want to check out some of the NewBlue plugins. They can do some similar things.
