Trying to burn DVD after completing project. All menus missing, next button greyed out and will not work. Downloaded a patch to make this work when I first purchased software however computer crashed and disk image I restored did not have this patch included.
Have downloaded and installed both service packs for this software. Did not make any difference.
Cannot get an answer from Corel support. Getting desparate as I'm supposed to deliver DVDs to my granddaughter's soccer team this weekend.

Re: Video Studio X2 Buttons greyed out
Welcome to the forums!
If you have added the patch to bring X2 into line with Win 7, then the only other thing I can think of is that you might need to update DirectX since, if your computer crashed, I assume you reloaded Win 7 and the original build of DirectX version 11. DirectX must be updated manually, it is not part of the customary windows update process. There is sticky at the top of the forum, that contains a link to the most recent version. Download it, then create a folder on your system to extract the files into, because it will extract around 200 files, and I sure wouldn't want them running loose. Once extracted, locate inside the folder and run the DXSETUP.exe file. Once it is done installing you can delete the folder having all the extracted files.
Updating DirectX has been known to cure a number of problems in the burning module of VS which appear to have been caused by Windows updates.

Re: Video Studio X2 Buttons greyed out
Sorry, I apparently didn't add that I had also updated DirectX per directions on this site. Rebooted after the Video Studio patches, rebooted after the directX update. Nothing seems to change. Hopefully I will hear something from my support request to Corel.
