I have some HD video files recorded from a Sony HD videocam. I added them to a Blu-ray project and whenever I try to burn it, it stops rendering when starting converting title 1. I cannot cancel it even after clicking the Cancel button and need to force quit the application. However, if I change to use AVCHD format using exactly the same settings, it can continue to render.
The file format is as follows:
PAL HDMV
Video:
H.264 Upper field first
24bit, 1440x1080, 16:9
25 frames per second
Variable bit rate (max 16000kps)
Audio:
Dolby Digital Audio
48000Hz
256kps
I tried to use the same settings as the original mts files or use the default Blu-ray standard settings and the results are the same.
I am using DVD MovieFactory 7 Pro service pack 2 and I am very frustrated about this as I need to burn Blu-ray disc instead of AVCHD.
There is no problem on rendering another project which contains photo slideshows and SD MP4 videos.
Best regards,
Chris Lee.
Blu-ray format stopped rendering
Re: Blu-ray format stopped rendering
I found the reason! It is caused by choosing Normalize Audio option.
If I uncheck this option, then it can continue to render. So I think it is the problem of MF7 as there is no problem for AVCHD. Wish it can be fixed.
