HDV rendering

Post by weaver »

I recently upgraded my PC with additional 1 GB RAM (total 2 GB). I set up in the system the proper memory allocation ( 4 GB). Since this upgrade my VS 10+ (with SP) cannot fully render the HDV videos. The VS stops somewhere in the middle of the film (between 2 and 99%). Rendering into any other formats works fine (in incl. downconversion). I edit since several years my films in HDV format and usually render the final version into a HDV (MPEG) file, than only downconvert into DVD. This time I cannot create a full copy of the film in HDV. When the system crashes the recorded portion works well (i.e. I can play back the portion of the HDV film - on one trial just 2 seconds were missing from the total length  ).

Any idea what can I do?
