Color filter settings bug in vs9.

Post by Mr Analogue »

I use an nvidia capture card for analog capture of my old vhs tapes.
I adjust the color filter (ie. brightness, contrast & saturation) in the capture setup so the result matches the original. That works fine !

If I close VS9 and then reopen, it remembers the settings but if reboot the pc the settings go back to the default.
The settings I make are saved in the 'uvCapMainDlg.ini' file and are still there after I reboot but when VS9 starts up it still reverts back to the default.
The older versions did not suffer from this problem.

Anyone else found the same thing ?

Nope. But have you considered making the file read-only?

No point in making the file read only, as it's not changing.
The problem is that VS9 is saving the data but it never reads it back again.

Oh, sorry. When you wrote that it reverts back, I assumed that it is overwriting the settings in the file.

If it's not reading the settings in the INI file, there likely is no workaround, and you should report this as a bug to Ulead's Tech Support.
