Photos to video clip

Post by Tasana Studios »

Need some suggestions please.
I shot a sign then paned to building. However regardless of what I used, the wind was so bad that day the video footage was useless.
I figured that would be the case the day I was shooting so I took out my Sony still camera and shot a series of still shots panned.
I now need to take those still shots and make it appear as though it is video panning from the sign to the building.
I then can lead that into a video that did come out good of the front of the building.
In VSX4, does anyone have suggestions?
I have done similar before by trimming the time and adding crossover, but it just does not look "good".
Thanks guys.

I'm not sure how to shot your stills, but I would first try creating a panorama from those images. Then you could insert the panorama, and apply a Pan/Zoom (without the zoom) to the image.

I have Corel PSP12 and I can see how to do it. But since I have never done it I am opting not to try my first run on this wedding. But now that you pointed me in the right direction I will play with it later to learn how to make a panorama. I have never done one.
Thanks

You could also try using the stop-motion feature of VSx4. It would look like a time-lapse of the panning process happening. Might be a cool effect for an opener.
