Cinemagraphs - any luck?

Post by Eva Mari »

I guess most of you have seen the new rave: cinemagraphs.

I saw a tutorial but have had no chance to complete my roundabout way as Windows Movie Maker keeps freezing up on me and refuses to save...

So my q is: any other with completed work?

Best regards from Eva Mari

If there's a specific question in this post, I'm missing it.

1. This isn't a Windows Movie Maker forum
2. I've no idea what you're asking

This forum is for Ulead GIF Animator and it's related web utilities, so if you're question isn't specific to either, it's likely your question won't get an answer here.

Sorry about the confusion. I am a UGA5 user and only uses the WMM to cut down to reasonable size the ripped material.
I have now made a cinemagraph quite fast and easy and was just wondering if any of you already have and how.

It's a bit on the rough side but I haven't the luxury of props/models and 1) great still and 2) models to ask be as still as possible while HD-filming them...
This is a few frames from a LOTRvideo from Youtube, - selected the Liv Tyler with tear and deleted every other frame and increased speed.
Took out one frame for "still". Made a sequence by cropping left side of hair and save, then right side ditto.
Opened up still and pasted in hair, sync and all. Saved. Did so for the other side of her hair as well.
Made this GIF transparent and added it to signature as usual

Best regards from Eva Mari :)
