Convert Blu-ray project file to AVCHD project file

Post by chrislee »

I created a Blu-ray project and planned to burn a Blu-ray disc to store the slideshows and videos of a trip. However, after finished making video project, I found that it requires only around 3G diskspace. I would then want to use AVCHD format instead of Blu-ray format and burn it to a cheaper DVD.

Is there any way to easily convert my Blu-ray project file to AVCHD project file? I don't want to create the AVCHD project all over again!

Thanks for helping me.

chrislee,

The answer is no, since at the start of the project you specify that you are creating a specific media (AVCHD) that is why whenever you open that project file DVD Movie Factory also see it as AVCHD. This however is possible with VideoStudio Pro X4. If you save your VideoStudio Project file (.vsp) you can create create multiple media (DVD, AVCHD, BD BD-J) using the same .VSP file.

If you're interested in trying VideoStudio Pro X4, you can download the trial at www.corel.com/trials.

1. Click on the Project Settings icon, second from the left at the bottom.

2. From the Project Type drop-down menu at the top of the dialog box that opens, choose AVCHD.
