I want to try the upgrade, but I am afraid of losing my X3 installation.
Is there any interference between the two ?
Can I install X4 trial side by side with X3 ?

They are completely separate installations, so don't worry. A number of us have several versions on the same computer and have no problems. For instance, I have X2, X3 and X4 on this computer. The only thing you need to be aware of is that you can only open one at a time.

Like what Ken mention you can have multiple versions on one computer. The upgrade that you read from the corel web site is for discounts for previous owners of corel products.
