lack of product support and basic product information

Post by freedda »

I have a few times now tried to find out if I can bring in MOV files from my Canon 60d SLR into VS Pro, both by posting on this web site and by posing the question to Corel. I've yet to get an answer.

I've looked at other video editing software web sites, and this information--what file types are support for import and export--is really easy to find. No so with Corel and VIdeoStudio Pro.

Makes me want to use another program instead.

Thanks Ron, and I apologize for being a bit grumpy, but I did look and didn't find the info. and for some reason, Corel support couldn't find the answer either. The input doesn't call out MOV files, but it does say quicktime files work, so I think I'm okay.

Best, David

Hi David

What problems are you having importing your clips to video studio?

I have a Canon that probably produces the same type of video and have no problems inserting to timeline.

I would however use the cameras 25 fps rather than 50 fps options.

I open Video Studio, right click the timeline and select Insert Video or Photo and browse my hard drive for the files.
