missing materials palette !

I insert text but palette to change color is nowhere to be found ! This is driving mr crazy , seems like it did it before but don't remember fix , I"m stupid I know but please help me ! I've tried to view the materials palette and all that ! Thnx

Try going to the View menu --> Palettes and checking Materials and it sounds like you might have already done that. If so, try resetting your work space by exiting the program and then relaunching it by clicking the desktop icon while holding down the shift key.

If you can't get the materials palette visible by using the View menu, as Kathy_9 suggested, or by using the F6 key, there is one thing more you can try before resetting your workspace. Pressing Control+Shift+T will display all palettes in their home location, with floating palettes being in the center of the screen, more-or-less. However, you will probably have a lot of manual repositioning to do in order to get them back where you want them.
