PSP X3 - Version Number and Patches

Post by awbarnett »

I'm trying to help a friend who bought a new HP computer that came with PSP X3 (one month ago).

Acccording to PSP's web site there are 4 new Patches Available.
Does the Version number change each time a patch has been installed?
If so, what are the Version Numbers that we should see after the installation of each patch?

I want to compare the version numbers with his copy of PSP X3 to see what Patches may or may not have already been installed on his version.

You help is appreciated. Anthony

Just to add that X3 Ultimate began as 13.2.0.41, but has the same version numbers as the standard version after patches 3 and 4.
A beta version of patch 5 has been released to fix problems with the bottom few pixels on selections. It doesn't change the version number.

The version number of my friends PSP X3 is 13.0.0.261.

SP1 is 13.0.0.253 and it is less than his current version
Do we forget about installing SP1 and start with SP2 which is 13.2.0.35 (greater than his current version)?

Thank you.

Yes. Patch 1 is the only one that doesn't need to be installed. It is included in Patch 2, so anything less than 13.2.0.35 can start with Patch 2.
