Trying to justify

I like to stay up with the Tech advancements.My interests are strictly of the home movies type. No professional dreams that would carry me off to Hollywood .
I have the VS-X3 , and have looked at the trial version of the X4. My question is " What are the advantages of my upgrading to the X4. Seems like they are very close to being the same , for basic users.

If you have truly used the trial version and find that, for your use, they are basically the same then I think you have answered your own question. There is no reason for any of us to talk you into upgrading.
