Low Audio level in AVCHD disk project

Post by pucho »

I am using DVD MovieFactory 7 Pro (DMF7P) to create an AVCHD disk using HDV footage rendered in VideoStudio Pro X3 (VSPX3). After DMF7P imports AVCHD file, the audio level is too low. Audio level can be raised to 500 after clicking "edit room." But why is audio level so low in DMF7P?

The video track is fine however. The file plays normally in VLC player.
  • AVCHD file plays properly using VLC Media player
File created with "AVCHD NTSC HD 1440" option in Share, Create Video pick list.
    File length is 26 minutes
    File size is 2.75 GB.
DMF7 Service Pack (SP) 1 and 2 are installed as well as
    VSPX3 SP2
DMF7P was able to burn AVCHD Disk when "create menu" toggle was deselected in Step 1 of 3. and audio level was raised to 500. But why is audio level so low in DMF7P? Any clues appreciate. Please help. Thank you.
