X4 Installation

I have X2 and decided to buy the download upgrade version of X4. These are experiences that website designers should avoid:
On the download screen there is a button that says installation instructions. There is nothing there for X4, only X3.
Also on the download screen I get a content pack. No information whatsoever on the website (that I could find) about what is in it and how to install (im sure Ill guess).
Then there is the bonus pack file. Again, no information about what is in it.
Then I went to the patches and upgrades section to see if there was anything for X4. It has a list of products supported which includes X3 but not X4. Now they may mean that there are no updates at present for X4 but the wording is bad - it suggests that the version is not even supported.
So lets see how the install goes.....
