ulead 10/Windows 7 compatibility

Post by bubbs »

Have been using my Ulead Videostudio 10 on Windows XP on a laptop, but will soon be getting a PC desktop. Is Ulead 10 compatible with Windows 7?

If not can someone suggest what kind of PC's i should be looking for?

Compatible with Win7? No. Could it run on WIn7? Yes, there are some that have been doing just that. If your version of Win7 allows for compatibility mode I would use that. Your second question appears as if you're shopping for a new pc, based on VS 10 specs. If so any new pc will have more than enough, but will also come with Win7. I think to spend money on a new PC, you need to look at what you may do in the foreseeable future.

Are you going to be editing HD video? If so could/would it be the very demanding AVCHD?
How would you get your media (video/photos) to your PC? Firewire, USB (drag-n-drop), DVD, SSD?
You wanting to run multiple-monitors? You need a video card that supports that.
