Status Bar size and cursor position missing???

Post by pughmat »

I recently upgrade to X3, from X2. In X2, when I used the selection tool to select an area, the cursor position, selection size, etc was shown in the bottom right of the status bar (at the bottom right of the page)
In X3, I see the status bar, but the image information, cursor position, selection size is gone. I only see "Selection Tool: Click and drag to sel.....:

Where did this go? Is it just turned off by default? Please help!

Thanks.

There is no option to turn it on or off. And mine works just fine.

I suppose you could try the default fall-back option and reset your workspace.

Exit out of Paint Shop Pro and hold Shift while opening PSP from the desktop icon. It should ask you if you want to reset the workspace to the default (you will lose palette positions, bound scripts, menu changes, keyboard changes, and so on) Say yes and see if that fixes the problem.

If you can't get it to reset from there then inside PSP go to the file menu => preferences->Reset Preferenecs and select "reset workspace" from the dialog that pops up.

That did the trick. Thanks. I thought I was losing my mind. I've never had to reset anything before, but now I know.
