Video Files to YouTube via X2?

Post by Chips2502 »

I've got some AVIs to upload to YouTube. Thing is doesn't X2 have a function to allow you to upload video files from there? It's got the YouTube icon but for the life of me I can't get it to recognise my files. I've come to the conclusion that maybe there's something I'm doing wrong. But great if I can upload them from there because I'd like to edit them before hand.

You can still edit them in X2. When you are finished editing create a video file that you upload via YouTube.

The YouTube uploader in VS, allows only FLV, MPEG-4 and WMV files. To use the uploader in VS you need to first convert your "avi" file to one of those formats. I agree with what Jeff says. Just upload your video file from the YouTube website, you're not limited to the formats in VS.
