When I playback any HD mts file video clip, I get random "clicks" or dropouts in the audio.
I don't believe this is a VS issue, so I'm asking if anyone has experienced this and if so what can be done about it?
Behavior is the same when played back on media player. I'm running Win7Pro....you can see my hardware config in my profile.
For example if there was a dropout at 2'26", play the same file back AGAIN, no dropout in that spot but there might be one or more somplace else in the file.
My HD cam is new and this is one problem that I've never experienced with SD avi files imported from miniDV.
TIA,
Walt
Anyone have this audio issue?

Hi Walt
If you are having a general problem with audio playback then I would un-install and re-install the ATI High Definition Realtek

Re: Anyone have this audio issue?
That's the problem, Trevor. It's NOT general. It's only AVCHD files and it's completely random.
I'm currently testing with my trial version of Vegas Video HD and thus far I've not heard any blips.
But, the jury is still out. The files themselves are fine.

Hi
Maybe “general” was the wrong wording, but if its happening to Video Studio and your Media Player then it may be a PC issue.
I still think looking into the Realtek audio installation may be worth the effort.
