No sound creating DVD

I have a short project which I am trying to burn on to a DVD. When I play the DVD after I have successfully burned the project, I get video but no sound. I have tried both normalize audio checked and unchecked with the same results. I am using DVD-video as the recording format. I am running VS Pro x4. Where does the problem lie and how can I correct it?

Unfortunately, we simply do not have enough information to be able to make even a reasonable guess at a solution.

We have no idea what your original video format is, and what kind of camcorder or other device was used to film it; nor do we know anything about your workflow -- for instance, did you insert your video and edit it, then produce a new DVD-comaptible mpeg-2 (Share > Create Video File > DVD); or instead did you jump straight into the burning module (Share > Create Disc)?

Usually, this means that Video Sudio is having trouble with the file you're feeding-in. (It's usually a from problem, rather than a to problem.)

What format is your original audio/video (specifically the audio properties)?

What are your project properties?

Along with your video/project properties it may help if we knew which country you live in (not all audio formats work in all countries) - in fact why not fill in the "Location" field in your profile so that your location appears at the right like mine.
