I searched but could not find anything on this for VS X3. Is it possible to make a clip resemble the look of the movie 300? How did they do that with film and can it be done in VS X3? Thanks

You might be able to sort of mimic it by playing with the colors and contrast. But to be able to recreate it with VS? No.

Doesn't sound like something consumer-grade software can do.The post-production lasted for a year and was handled by a total of ten special effects companies.

Thanks, that is what I thought. It has that HDR look which is easy in stills but I am clueless on how they do it in film. I read that After Effects has some ability but I don't have AE.
I will play with the Hue/Color options as well as the FX film option.
Thanks

One can achieve this effect using Photoshop and VideoStudio.
In VideoStudio, export video to an image sequence.
On the web, I have seen "300 look" Photoshop action scripts.
Here's one:

Download and import into Photoshop.
Import your image sequence into Photoshop.
Run action and batch script to all images.
Import new "300 look" images as image sequence into VideoStudio.
Add music track, additional filters, etc. and create video file.
Done.
