Hello,
I've read several topics here on the Instant Project templates. I'm working my way through the VS Pro X4 trial and about to purchase it just have a couple of remaining questions.
The trial I'm using has a very limited set of DVD templates for use when burning a DVD disc. I assume these are different than the Instant Project templates that I've read about here?
If they are different than the Instant Project templates are there DVD templates for download?
I assume they're only available for a fully licensed install?
Thanks

Re: DVD Disc Templates?
The DVD menu templates are different than the Instant Project templates. They are created using the proprietary PhotoImpact working file format, UFO. They must have a specific naming convention, or they will not work properly. Since Corel has decided to stop development of PhotoImpact, we've repeatedly asked what their intentions are for the ability to create and/or customize the DVD menus? So far apparently nothing. Users are stuck with what Corel provides, and the limited means of customization. It would be nice if they incorporated the UFO file format into PSPP, but that does not seem likely.
The trial versions do come with a very limited number of these menus, and when you purchase VS X4, you will be provided with more, either through a download link in an email, or on the DVD (Boxed version).

Re: DVD Disc Templates?
Ok thanks Ron.
Do you know does DVD Copy 6 Plus add any added benefit to the embedded functions in a fully licensed VSPx4? I read an interesting review on Amazon of VSPx4 and the previous VSPx3 DVD burning functions actually being DVD Movie Factory 2010 which did not work very well and later being replaced with DVD Movie Factory 7, but chapter markers did not carry over from VSPx3 to DVD MF7. I've had good success burning DVD's from the embedded create disc functions in VSPx4, except for the lack of DVD templates. If more come with the license purchase great, just curious if DVD Copy 6 Plus would add any additional value? Price is reasonable if bought in conjunction with other software, which I'll have the opportunity to do when buying the license for VSPx4.
thanks
